Mr. Hidenaga Aoki (Managing Director)

Mr.Hidenaga Aoki is the Managing Director of SMAS India, bringing over 27 years of extensive experience in the automotive service industry. His career with Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Service Japan began in April 1997, where he quickly demonstrated his aptitude in sales. Starting as a Sales Staff Member in the Osaka Sales Department, Mr. Aoki honed his skills and advanced through various roles, including Sales Staff Member at the Shikoku Branch and Sales Assistant General Manager.

In 2010, Mr. Aoki transitioned to Tokyo as Assistant General Manager of the Sales Promotion Department, where he played a pivotal role in driving sales strategies and enhancing customer engagement. He further expanded his expertise as Assistant General Manager in the Alliance, Business Investments, and Affiliates Control Department. His leadership journey took him to Jakarta, Indonesia, as Division Head of Sales at PT Oto Multiartha, where he successfully increased market penetration and sales growth.

Upon returning to Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Service Japan, Mr. Aoki continued to excel in leadership roles, serving as Group Manager in the Metropolitan Network Sales Department and later as Senior Executive Officer at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. He returned to Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Service Japan as Group Manager of the MA Sales Department No. 2 before becoming General Manager of the Tokyo Sales Department No. 2.

In April 2024, Mr. Aoki took on the role of Executive Vice President of SMAS Auto Leasing India Private Limited, where he focused on expanding operations and strengthening the company's presence in the Indian market. In October 2024, he was appointed Managing Director, where he is dedicated to driving strategic growth and fostering partnerships that enhance customer satisfaction.

With a commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of both domestic and international markets, Mr. Aoki is poised to lead of SMAS Auto Leasing India Private Limited into a successful future, ensuring that the company continues to deliver outstanding service and innovative solutions to its clients.

Mr. Kazuhiro Hasumi (Director, Executive Vice President)

Mr. Hasumi brings extensive and varied experience from Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC Bank) in Japan, Korea and India. He gained a lot of knowledge and skills from his diverse experience in corporate sales, the market sector and overseas branches. He joined Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Service Co. Ltd., Japan in April and experienced auto leasing industry.He joined SMAS India in June 2023 and is widely recognized for his specialized ability in conceptualizing and implementing business strategies that drive market growth and penetration.

Mr. Naoto Shimada (Director)

Mr. Naoto Shimada joined SMAS Japan in 2005, bringing a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to excellence. Initially focused on domestic business as Sales Representative from FY2005 to 2010, he laid a solid foundation in sales operations within Japan.

From FY2011 to 2013, Mr. Shimada expanded his international experience by being seconded to the Australian subsidiary, Summit Auto Lease Australia Pty Ltd as Group Business Development Executive. This opportunity allowed him to gain valuable insights into the overseas market.

Upon returning to SMAS Japan HQ, he took on a pivotal role in looking after overseas business operations in Australia, India, and Thailand from the shareholder perspective. He has served as a non-Executive Director for both Summit Auto Lease Australia Pty Ltd and SMAS Auto leasing India Private Ltd. since FY2021, contributing strategic guidance and expertise.

From FY2022 to 2023, he was again seconded to Australia, this time as Deputy Managing Director, where he further strengthened his leadership skills and operational knowledge.

In February 2024, Mr. Shimada transitioned to Indian subsidiary, SMAS Auto leasing India Private Ltd. as Director, taking charge of Sales, Collection, ARD (Asset Restructure Department), and IT. His responsibilities expanded in October 2024 to include Vehicle Procurement and CPDST(Centralized payment & Document support team ), significantly enhancing his contributions to the company's global operations.

His diversified experience and strategic vision continue to drive SMAS Japan's success in international markets.
